Covid19 Update:

No further bookings being taken for stays till end of September  

Early July UK Government released Covid19 guidelines relating to shared bunk rooms with shared facilities.  Currently those guidelines make it very difficult for our accommodation to operate.  We have taken the decision to take NO FURTHER bookings until the end of September.  

We will be working on procedures to allow guests to stay from 1st October and reviewing UK Government guidelines regularly.

Our accommodation is currently closed to guests.  

  • No bookings will be accepted for stays up to the end of September 2020.  

  • Guests with confirmed bookings and deposits paid: Deposits can be deferred and carried forward to a future stay. 

  • Guests with booking up to the end of September will be contacted soon with details of how to rebook a future stay.

Dales Bike Centre is THE place to stay in Swaledale whether you're mountain biking, road cycling, trail running or walking the Yorkshire Dales.


Accommodation designed specifically for outdoor enthusiasts, we welcome muddy bikes, trainers and boots, we've a very good bike wash, bike storage, drying room and laundry!

Our 14 bed bunk accommodation is clean and very cosy, your comfy bunk is made up with fresh linen, 2 pillows and quilt. Breakfast is included, and we've a studio kitchenette with tea and coffee for you to use. In the evenings residents have access to the cafe to enjoy chill relax and take it easy. There's free wi-fi, 48" internet screen, magazines, books and 24 hour cake access!

Accommodation is split between two buildings, both on the upper floor.

Rooms combination are:

2 x four bedded rooms
3 x two bedded rooms (also available as Single Occupancy)

Showers, toilet and bathroom are shared facilities.

Breakfast is served in the cafe/lounge usually at 8:15am.

No dogs allowed in accommodation.


We are active folks and know how active folks like to start the day:
There's a choice of cereals, muesli or delicious porridge, plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt and fruit juices to help yourself to.

Followed by either:

-Scrambled Egg on toast made with free range eggs from the Wensleydale Egg Company.

-A bacon sandwich, our bacon comes from a local butcher and tastes fantastic!

-Freshly baked Crossiants.

All served with plenty of tea or coffee and we'll rustle up toast if you like.
