Cake Baker

We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Cake Baker to join the team at Dales Bike Centre.

Our café is a favourite stop for cyclists, walkers, locals and visitors exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales — and we’re looking for someone who can help keep our cake counter full of delicious, homemade treats.

The role

You’ll be responsible for baking a tempting selection of cakes, traybakes and other sweet treats for our café. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their baking, enjoys working independently and loves creating food that people come back for.

You’ll ideally have:

• A genuine passion for baking
• Experience baking cakes commercially or to a high standard
• An eye for presentation and consistency
• Good organisation and time-management skills
• A reliable, positive and practical approach
• An understanding of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness

We’re happy to hear from experienced bakers as well as talented home bakers who are ready to take their skills into a professional kitchen.
