The Yorkshire Dales and particularly Swaledale is a mecca for Gravel and Adventure cycling. The intricate and extensive network of gravel tracks, rough roads and lanes allow the most stunning routes to be explored and experienced.
Explore and adventure from here at Dales Bike Centre. Park up, grab a brew and peruse the bike shop before heading out to ride some gravel.

We have a modest size car park, there's no gate to lock you in our out. You are welcome to park and ride, there's no charge for parking but we think it's reasonable for you to spend a few pounds in the cafe/bike shop to help keep us all in work. Our opening times are 9-5pm, you'll probably find us floating around before and after, quite possibly heading out on a ride!
Castle Bolton Round 35km
A stunning ride... Not much warm up before tackling 'Height of Greets' climb. Drop into Castle Bolton in Wensleydale and onto the steep ramp back into Swaledale!
Swale Trail & Tan Hill Inn 56km
Gravel bike friendly way marked Swale Trail with a tough detour up to the famous Tan Hill Inn for a swifty;-) Mixed road/off road route, stunning scenery and a few tough climbs beware of the plentiful number of pubs en route to tempt the weak!

Gravel Social Ride
Join our not-so regular Social Gravel ride heading our from here at Dales Bike Centre. Expect 3-4 hours of mixed road and off road riding, there'll be climbs! Oh yes!
