Who are we?
We are Dales Bike Centre, cycle hub in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.  Accommodation, café, bike shop and bike hire, we also offer guided mountain biking and road biking trips and events.  We are currently a Sole Trading partnership

How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you purchase products, book accommodation, book bike hire or sign up for our newsletter.

What type of information is collected from you?

If you purchase a product from us, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: We may pass your information on to third party service providers when needed to complete a service you have requested (for example: email newsletters). However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes

Third Party Product Providers we work in association with: When you are using our secure online cart pages, your payment is processed by a third party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. You have a choice on whether you wish to receive further information from us, please tick the relevant boxes on the registration form.  You can change your marketing preferences at any time simply by accessing your account pages on the website, or if you only receive a newsletter from us, then you can use the unsubscribe link on the footer of any communication you receive from us. How you can access and update your information
If you have a registered an account with us, you can simply update any changes in your personal information once you are logged in to your account. If you only have a newsletter subscription you can change any details by clicking the “update subscription preferences” link in the newsletter footer. Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. All information (such as email address, credit or debit card details) is encrypted and protected with the following software 256 Bit encryption on SSL. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear in the address bar of web browsers. Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
