Mountain biking is our passion, Swaledale in the stunning Yorkshire Dales is our home, the trails here offer the highest concentration of quality bridleways, tracks and rideable trails anywhere in the Dales. Here in Fremington we are the Trail Head for mountain biking.... Park up, grab a brew and bacon sandwich, check out the bikeshop, pick up a route map or even hire a bike then get out and hit the trails. Hub of Road Cycling
There is no finer place than the Yorkshire Dales to cycle, no only did the 2014 Tour De France pass by our door en route of stage 1. There's also being voted number 2 in Cycling Weekly's Top 10 Places to Ride in the UK. Not forgetting the many local road climbs listed in Simon Warrens books - '100 Greatest Cycling Climbs'. The Yorkshire Dales offers the most amazing road riding experience in the UK. Book a visit and start ticking off those climbs, maybe just take in the 30 mile Tan Hill Loop or head up Dale for a pootle.
