Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales is a stunning place to mountain bike but adventure here is earned.  Home of the ArdRock Enduro the trail network is almost endless but navigation is a key part of mountain biking here.  If navigation isn't your strong point or you simply want to make the utmost of your time in Swaledale then let us lead the way...

Guiding and Support:

Our professional qualified team of mountain bike guides have many years of mountain biking experience and know this area like no-one else.  All are Cycling UK 'Technical' qualified leaders, first aid qualified and hold other qualifications within the outdoors industry.   We will ensure you get the absolute most out of your Guided Mountain Bike day, after all your time is precious!  

The Riding:

Using our extensive local knowledge of the natural trail network from our door, we will weave together some amazing riding days.  You won't find man-made boardwalks, sculpted berms or handbuilt table tops. You will ride through big landscapes, awesome scenery, real adventures on trails where you're not likely to see another rider. One minute it's singletrack not much wider than your tyre, next winching your way up a rocky moorland trail then flying down a fast rocky descent with fruity little steps, loose corners and drops to focus the mind. The trails around here drain well due to a predominantly limestone landscape giving good all weather trails, not much mud around here!

Food:

It's not just about the riding after all, we know about feeding cyclists, in fact our cafe is listed in the 'Bike Hub' top 20 cycle cafe stops in the UK. Take a seat to refuel and sample our great coffee, order from our menu and indulge in our awesome cakes! Go check out our cafe here

Accommodation:

Need accommodation? Then look no further, 'Bunk and Breakfast with a touch of class' said The Guardian, April 2012.  Rooms are split into two and four beds, not your usual hostel type, here it's smart clean and warm. Our purpose built centre is set up for mountain bikers to have the most enjoyable experience on offer in the UK.  As well as accommodation we have a cafe, bike shop, workshop, secure bike store, bike wash, drying room, laundry, kitchenette, parking and 24 hour cake access!  Go Check It Out Here
